“After reading up on the history of “All Dogs Go to Heaven”, I cannot believe Don Bluth and co.’s film got lambasted by way of the critics comparing to the wildly contrasting “Little Mermaid” as opposed to its own merits or weaknesses. The films are as similar as night and day which is to say they aren’t comparable at all beyond their status as animated films released in theaters.”
