Oak leaves in autumn colours on the front of my left thigh.
I love the autumn season, and my mother and her family are from Derry in Northern Ireland. Derry is the Anglicisation of the Irish name Doire, which translates as ‘oak grove’.

This is a ‘nod’ to my Irish heritage, but the fact that the oak tree is held as sacred by some and seen as a symbol of strength is also a happy coincidence, I guess :)
